When placing an order online with eaziweb Ltd and / or on eaziweb.co.uk you agree and are bound to the terms and conditions outlined below. eaziweb Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
1. Domain Names
- You may use your own domain name to server your website.
- If you require eaziweb Ltd to register a domain for you, any new domain names registered are done so under the ownership and control of eaziweb Ltd. The customer can request ownership and transfer of domains at any time which will be carried out for a fee of £99 + VAT, payable up-front.
- All domain purchase and renewals are charged at £15 + VAT per year for .co.uk domains and £25 + VAT per year for .com domains. Other domain extensions will be charged at a rate to be agreed.
- eaziweb Ltd take no liability for any loss of profit or website downtime caused by expiration of domain names, or other technical faults caused by any third party or domain registrar.
2. Delivery Of Website
- All pay monthly website accounts require a recurring card payment to be setup prior to work commencing. As soon as confirmation of setup is received, we commence work on your selected services.
- eaziweb Ltd requires you to supply textual content to be added to your website. You should also supply your own images for which you are the copyright holder. eaziweb Ltd can provide licensed images at our discretion. You and you only are responsible for sourcing images ethically. All text and images submitted must be free of copyright and eaziweb Ltd accepts no responsibility for any infringement of copyright law arising from any text or images used on your website.
- eaziweb Ltd can supply professional copywriting at an additional cost.
- Expected completion timeframe on most websites is around 10 working days however if content is not provided this will delay completion.
- eaziweb Ltd reserves the right to refuse to handle in any way, material which may be deemed offensive, illegal or controversial.
3. On-going Services
- Hosting, technical maintenance, software updates and all general upkeep services shall be provided by eaziweb Ltd as standard and be included as part of the agreed monthly fee.
- While eaziweb Ltd will take extensive measures to ensure that the customer does not experience any disruption of service, we cannot accept liability for disruption of service caused by factors outside of our control.
- SSL certificates are renewed every 90 days.
4. Additional Services
- Copywriting includes textual content including a minimum of 250 words for the following pages; Home, About Us, up to 5 Services.
- Logo design includes the submission of 1 logo variant with accompanying brand guidelines. A single round of revisions is included within the advertised price. Further additions are charged at a rate of £50 + VAT per hour, to be agreed and paid up-front.
5. Fair Usage
- Your website uses optimisation tools to reduce the size of media files.
- You must not use server storage in the Media Library for your own personal or business documents which are not deemed necessary website content. Any non-essential files will be removed.
- 5GB storage is permitted per account.
6. Availability & Support
- Opening hours are between 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays and any working days between 24th December and 2nd January, usually three to five working days.
- eaziweb Ltd reserve the right to close the business on days with staff shortages, when carrying out critical upgrades, due to adverse weather conditions, seasonal holidays, events or for any other reason we deem necessary at short or no notice.
- eaziweb Ltd reserve the right to change our opening hours at any time.
- eaziweb Ltd will provide instructions on how to setup your email on third-party software such as Apple Mail, Android Mail, Gmail & Outlook. We cannot offer email or phone support when setting up emails on third-party software unless we state otherwise to you.
- We will aim to fix any reported issues within a reasonable timeframe, which are not caused by the customer’s doing, within business hours.
- In addition, eaziweb Ltd will not tolerate any form of swearing, anger or harassment from customers or third-parties against its employees. In the event of inappropriate or unreasonable behaviour, eaziweb Ltd reserves the right to cancel a contract without refund and with full payment due as a single payment. If any threatening behaviour is directed to any of our employees, all future correspondence will be by postal mail only.
7. Copyright
- A copyright symbol is added to the bottom of your website automatically.
- You may register to copyright any unique content you add to your website.
- Any unique content that you have created and uploaded, whether it is text, video or image based, may have copyright granted to you when the website is launched.
- The design of your website and any template you choose is copyright eaziweb Ltd.
- The underlying code is copyright eaziweb Ltd.
- eaziweb Ltd websites use WordPress CMS, copyright WordPress.com.
- eaziweb Ltd websites may use third-party plugins which are copyright to their author.
8. Duration Of Contact
- All pay monthly website packages are subject to a 12 month contract followed by a rolling monthly contract.
- Requests of account cancellation must be done in writing, by email, to admin@eaziweb.co.uk, stating your wish to cancel after 30 days.
- After providing written notice of your wish to cancel, all services and recurring card payments will be terminated within 30 days.
- If your recurring card payment fails and payment is not received within 7 days, your account will be suspended unless you have notified us of any issues and we have agreed otherwise, in writing. Suspension of your account will mean your website will be taken offline.
- Your account will be terminated if payment is not received within 30 days. Account termination will result in the complete termination of the website. Your website and all content therein will be held on our servers for 90 days should you decide to renew your website in the future. After 90 days your website and all content therein will be permanently deleted from our servers.
9. Moving Away, 12 Month Term
- All pay monthly websites are on a minimum 12 month term.
- If you wish to cancel this agreement you can do so after 12 months, after which your website will be taken offline.
- If you would like to move your website to another provider, eaziweb Ltd agrees to transfer both your website files and database and your domain name, for a variable fee depending on your length of contract, as follows:
0-12 months: £3,000 + VAT
12-24 months: £2,000 + VAT
24-36 months: £1,000 + VAT
Beyond 36 months: £500 + VAT
10. Non-Payment
- We request that all clients make payment by recurring card payment each month. If payment is not received within 48 hours of being due, we will, in the first instance, attempt to contact you to ensure payment is made promptly. If no payment is forthcoming, we reserve the right to take your website offline until payment is made without further notification.
11. Copyright
- eaziweb Ltd does not assume any responsibility or liability for the content of the websites it manages, maintains or hosts.
12. Refund Policy
- In the event that eaziweb Ltd hasn’t commenced the customer’s order within 10 working days, the customer may be entitled to a refund, in part or in full, of the first payment. If eaziweb Ltd has already commenced work, no refund will be due. In either event, refund requests for the first payment will only be considered where the request has been made within seven days of the date of entering into this contract. All refund requests should be emailed to admin@eaziweb.co.uk.
13. Acceptance
- Please note that by submitting your payment, you are agreeing to all of our terms of service as they are written here. eaziweb Ltd reserves the right to change or update these terms at any time without prior notice. The user of this website agrees to the terms of this agreement on behalf of his or her organization or business. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding of the parties. Any changes or modifications thereto must be in writing.
